QGP stands for Quark-Gluon Plasma, which is a state of matter that is believed to exist at extremely high temperatures and densities. In a QGP, the strong nuclear force that holds quarks together is overcome, causing them to move freely and interact with each other. This state of matter is thought to have existed in the first microseconds after the Big Bang and can also be created in high-energy particle collisions, such as those produced in experiments at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Studying the properties of QGP can help us understand the conditions in the early universe and the behavior of matter under extreme conditions.
